Cornflower Persian Centaurea Dealbata is a herbaceous perennial herb native to Iran and the Caucasus. Persian Cornflower seeds can be started indoors in winter, and also called Knapweed, this Cornflower is a compact, clumping plant with dark-green, coarsely cut foliage and attractive, pink-lavender flowers. Despite Persian Cornflower is perennial, the plant blooms the first year, and its showy flowers attract butterflies and bees.
Cornflower Persian is used extensively in various landscape applications such as flower beds and borders, cottage gardens, meadow and wild gardens, naturalized areas and sunny woodland spots. Centaurea Dealbata seeds produce the dependable flowering plant that grows best in full sun enjoying average or poor, sandy, moist, but well-drained soil.
