Morning Glory Japanese Kikyo-Zaki Ipomoea Nil is a unique looking, annual twining flowering vine that is originated in Japan. Morning Glory Japanese Kikyo-Zaki seeds can be started directly outdoors after last frost, and this Ipomoea Nil vine blooms with extra large, 5-6 inches across, star-shaped, semi-double red, white, and blue flowers with a white border around the petals. The blooming all summer long Japanese Morning Glory attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Morning Glory Japanese Kikyo-Zaki blooms early and loads itself with abundance of extremely showy, brilliantly colored flowers, and like all Morning Glories this annual vine climbs vigorously over fences, trellis, walls, arbors etc. Ipomoea Nil seeds have to be soaked in warm water overnight prior sowing, and once established Morning Glory Kikyo-Zaki is virtually care free flower that thrives in full sun, and moist, but well drained soil.
