Erigeron Profusion Erigeron Karvinskianus is a hardy perennial, daisy-like flower native to Mexico. Erigeron Profusion seeds have to be just slightly pressed into the soil and not covered, because these seeds need light to germinate. Other common names of Erigeron Karvinskianus are Mexican Daisy, Santa Barbara Daisy, Dancing Daisy, Latin American Fleabane, and Seaside Daisy. Erigeron Profusion is a very attractive and versatile, compact growing, trailing flowering perennial plant that features bushy mounds of of grey-green foliage and blooms profusely all summer and fall with charming daisy-like, white turned to pink flowers attracting butterflies and bees.
Erigeron Profusion looks terrific growing in walls cracks and cascading over rockeries in rock gardens. Profusion Fleabane is also often planted as a ground cover plant, and this compact perennial is mass planted in wildlife landscape applications for its low to the ground growing habit, airy appearance, and profuse blooming. Because of its natural trailing habit, Santa Barbara Daisy is a fabulous choice for planting in window boxes, containers, hanging baskets, along walkways, and between step stones. Erigeron Karvinskianus seeds germinate in 2-4 weeks, and the established Mexican Daisy is a trouble free flower that grows well in full sun and partial shade tolerating poor soil and drought. Erigeron Profusion makes a good cut flower.
