Johnny Jump Up Viola Cornuta is a compact annual or short-lived perennial, native to Spain and the Pyrenees Mountains. Johnny Jump Up seeds can be started directly outdoors in spring or fall, and also commonly called Horned Violet, Viola Tricolor grows low to the ground and produces vibrant blooms that are deep purple and yellow, creating a solid carpet of color for weeks all season long. Johnny Jump Up has been used extensively in floral gardens for a long time, and Viola is popular flower for planting in containers, pots, hanging baskets, as a companion for spring bulbs, rock gardens, borders.
