Godetia Dwarf Farewell to Spring is the most flamboyant western native wildflower that is widely planted in borders, flower beds, cutting gardens, cottage gardens, pots and containers. Clarkia Amoena seeds can be started indoors in pots 6-8 weeks before last frost date or sown directly in the garden as soon as the ground can be worked. The seeds can be sown in fall in mild climates, and the established Godetia grows best in average, moderately fertile, well-drained soils requiring full sun in coastal climates and part shade in hot summer climates and inland.
