Chocolate Flower Berlandiera Lyrata is a herbaceous perennial that belongs to the Aster family. Chocolate Flower seeds can be started indoors in winter or earlier spring, and another common names of this plant are Chocolate Daisy, Lyre Leaf Greeneyes, and Green-Eyed Lyre Leaf. Berlandiera Lyrata grows up to 18 inches tall, and the mature plant spreads to 24 inches across. Chocolate Daisy has chocolate-scented, gray-green foliage with chocolate-colored flower stems and produces masses of cocoa-scented, daisy-like flowers with bright yellow petals and maroon centers.
